Some notes regarding the election:
1) I want to thank all of the Town Staff and election workers for all
their efforts. A record 2900 people came through the door yesterday to
vote, almost 4 voters per minute. Except for the line of people waiting
when the polls opened at 7:00, there were very few times where voters
needed to wait in line. We had over 60 people involved in these efforts
and it all ran smoothly. We also processed over 770 Absentee Ballots.
I especially want to thank my Deputy Clerk, Sara Ludtke for all her work
with training, coordinating, and running the election. =20

2) I want to thank all of you who made the effort to come out to vote.
I hope you found it to be easy and efficient. We really try to make it
so you do not waste time while voting.
