Coyotes:

A Town resident called recently to let us know that he's observed a pack
of coyotes around the Twin Valley-Old Sauk-Keewatin area. This would be
a group that likely roves over a larger area. With this information, we
sincerely want residents in the Town who have pets to be alert to the
risk this presents to their pets if left outside unattended.

Off Leash Dogs:

The Town has received several calls since the first of the year about
dogs that are not on leash. Dogs do not need to be on leash if in the
owner's yard. However, in ALL OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES dogs must be on
leash. This includes all Town green spaces, parks, trails and
conservancies if dogs are allowed in those areas. If dogs are not
allowed, it will be posted. =20

Doggie Do - Please Don't!

Please be a responsible pet owner. No one likes to deal with doggie do
- and that goes in spades for people who don't own dogs only to find it
in their yards or in public spaces where children play or on roadsides.
Short and sweet - pick up after your pet and dispose of appropriately. =20
