Please join the Town of Middleton in honoring Mel Pope as the first
"Friend of the Town" recipient at this year's FREEDOM FEST 2014 held on
July 4th at Pioneer Park.
"For the past 10 years Mel Pope has been the driving force in shaping
the 105-acre Pope Farm Conservancy into the renowned educational and
ecological sanctuary it has become. With Mel's help the town has a
'park' unlike any other. Mel has donated many hours of planning,
working, preparing budgets, and anything else needed to get the job
done"...

year). Registration at 7 a.m., RUN at 7:30 a.m.
(NEW this year: same day registration and payment at Pioneer Park.
$12/runner (covers the run and water). =20
Fire truck bike parade for the kids: 11 a.m. Start at Betsy
Lane/Swoboda Road, ends in Pioneer Park
11:30 Community Picnic: burgers, brats, chips, soda and beer for sale
12:30 Family games: potato sack race, water balloon toss, tug of war
