As many of you know, the Ironman Triathlon will take place along Timber
Lane in the Town this weekend. I have attached a map of the route for
your reference.

The information printed by the race sponsors indicates that roads will
be "closed". I have spoken with the race organizer and he has assured me
that people will be able to get in and out of their properties. In fact,
he asked me to pass on the message below explaining how they will manage
car and bicycle traffic.=20

"Ironman Wisconsin will take place on Sunday September 7th. We are
expecting 2600 athletes from every state and over 15 countries to take
part in the event. While we know this event can be an inconvenience to
people who are not involved in the event, your patience and friendliness
are what make this event special to those involved. Roads will be
crowded with bicycles but every effort is made with law enforcement at
intersections, to get residents to and from their homes with as little
trouble as possible. Please use caution when driving on the roads and
follow the directions of the officers and race personnel on the course.
There will be delays on cross roads but again safety of everyone is
paramount so please be patient."
