2015 Freedom Fest - Town of Middleton An "Ol' Fashioned Picnic in the Park=
"
Town of Middleton Residents:
You are invited to Pioneer Park to celebrate the Fourth of July with the 6t=
h annual FREEDOM FEST. Please join us in an "Ol' Fashioned Picnic in the P=
ark." This event is for all residents in the Town and is filled with activ=
ities for all. Below are a list of events:
7:30 a.m. 5K run/walk (begins and ends at the shelter in Pioneer Park)
*$12 entry fee for the race/runner or walker, $22 for 2 participants and $1=
0/runner after. . . some people have their whole family run!!
11:00 a.m. Firetruck parade. Begin gathering at Swoboda Rd /Betsy Ln at 10=
:45 a.m. The bike/stroller Firetruck parade will end in Pioneer Park
11: 30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Food: Freedom Franks, Burgers, chips, soda and beer
12:30 p.m. FUN GAMES: 3-legged race, relays, water balloon toss, jump hou=
se and CAKEWALK
Freedom Fest has become a 4th of July tradition in the Town of Middleton an=
d each year it has grown. The proceeds from the event go back in the commu=
nity. To date, Freedom Fest has helped several Town initiatives such as: =
community grill in Pioneer Park, flags for the fire station and a portable =
amplifier for walking tours in Pope Farm Park.
Of course, this event cannot happen without the generous donors and volunte=
ers who make this a success. Those donations come from: Twin Valley Farms=
, UW Provisions, Kwik Trip, Clasen's Bakery and Olson Toon. Please contact=
