Alex Gerasev and hand printed at Muskat Studios in an edition of 250,

Cost: $ 200 per person=20
This workshop will introduce students to traditional stone
lithography. In this digital age, there is still room for the
artist's hand. This medium offers the artist a beautiful and
responsive surface on which to create images. Students will have the
opportunity to explore the wide range of mark-making materials, which
allow for almost any style of images. Students will learn processing
and basic printing.=20
Most materials will be provided. Students are responsible for
providing printing paper; other materials will be provided in class.=20
Some paper will be available for sale at the studio.=20
Pronto Plate Workshops
Intermediate Level: Saturday & Sunday, June 26 & 27, 12 =E2=80=93 4 both

Beginner Level: Saturday & Sunday, August 23 & 24, 12 =E2=80=93 4 both

Cost: $ 100 per person per workshop=20
Intermediate Level Workshop: This workshop is for students with
some experience with Pronto Plates. Course will cover registration
issues, color printing, and other technical concerns.=20
Beginner Level Workshop: This workshop will introduce students to
Pronto Plates, a relatively new product for lithographic printing.=20
These plates allow for quick, fun printing and creation of images.=20
Hand-work and some photo-based image-making possibilities will be
covered. Most supplies will be provided. Students are responsible
for providing their own printing paper. Some paper will be available
for sale at the Studio.=20

Carolyn Muskat will be teaching an Intensive Stone Lithography class
at the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop in NYC! For those of you
