Hello,
I had the opportunity to participate in an excellent Mathtools Seminar held
by the Math Forum this past August. One of the goals of their Mathtools
project (http://mathforum.org/mathtools) is to provide a library of
software tools that will help teachers in the teaching of math. Included are
Java applets from NCTM's Illuminations, Shodor Interactive, and the Virtual
library at Utah State projects. Having used Logo Microworlds over the years
in my staff development work, I thought it would valuable to share some
examples of Microworlds activities via the Mathtools library. I started
revising some of my own examples and realized that a group effort might be
useful in accomplishing this goal. I would be interested in starting a
discussion about how we can involve the Logo community in participating in
the Mathtools project. I'm curious what others think about this idea.

Thanks - Ihor
