Oh, now I see that you are using MicroWorlds 2 instead
of MicroWorlds Pro.

Then you can't use this method, sorry.

Did you get this reply:

Greeting to All...

With refernce to keeping a project secure and preventing
users from jumping out of presentationmode; you could
publish an html export, and , provided the plug-in was ok,
people could access and use, but not edit the project.

Regards

Steve Robson

I could help you create the html code needed. If the
students can see MicroWorlds projects directly from
their Internet browsers (like the one here:
http://mia.openworldlearning.org/squares/onln_squares_1.htm
) they'll be able to load the voting project....

but wait... that wouldn't work because projects
accessed this way can't write to external files. And
I'm pretty sure you'll need to do that in your voting
project.

I guess you could use the demo version of MicroWorlds 2
when you are ready to use the voting project. This
version prevents saving any changes made to the project...
no that won't work either, with this version you can't
use savetext. How are you saving you votes?

sorry, I'm out of ideas.
