Peace and Blessings Everyone,
I just returned from a trip to NYC for the 34th Annual African Arts Festiva=
l
and it was a beautiful event. I would like to thank Vonetta of Right Hand
Concepts (www.righthandconcepts.com) and her husband, Rodney, for letting u=
s
stay at their house. In addition to visiting my good friends Kendra Ross
(www.kendraross.com), Symantix (www.symantixonline.com), Brian & Lurie
(www.sankofaempowerment.org), Dasez (www.h4d.com), Soul Dean
(www.ciphersoulrevival.com) and Chen-Lo (www.liberationonline.com) while I
was there I was able to stop by the Hue Man Bookstore
(www.huemanbookstore.com). They are now carrying copies of my poetry book
(with included CD) =B3Deep Within Us All.=B2 If you are in NYC or know someone
who is, please feel free to stop by and pick up a copy.
In other news, On Saturday, July 9th, I will be amongst the featured Local
Authors at Joseph Beth Booksellers at the Southside Works in Pittsburgh, PA=
.
The event starts at 2:00 p.m. And probably lasts until 5 or 6pm. For more
information, you can call Joseph Beth Booksellers at : (412) 381-3600. Don=B9=
t
forget to visit the E-Fest afterwards and see Liberation
(www.liberationonline.com) perform live with special guests!
On Tuesday, August 16, 2005, I will be participating in event being held by
ACORN at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. The event is called =B3Art for
Justice Sake=B2 and will take place from 5:00 p.m. Until 10 p.m.. More
information will be available on my website (www.deepwithinusall.com) as it
is available or you can call the ACORN Office 412-441-6551.
Also look out for my first interview to be available via the latest
technological trend =AD podcast. Joseph Johnson of Urban Soul Nation
(www.urbansoulnation.com) will be interviewing me for his program which wil=

be made available as a podcast. Urban Soul Nation is one of a handful of
African-American podcasters and also offers streaming media. I will send ou=

more information as it becomes available as well.
