i just returned from a wonderful trip to wales and the uk. spent =
several days in tregaron, and hopefully will have pictures soon to post. =

think i tracked down where evan sr. and jr. lived before they left for =
the u.s. sadly, the cottage was torn down around 10 years ago. =20
will give a fuller account with names of those who gave me the leads and =
where they got their info.
was struck by the interest of native locals in my quest, but also by the =
- for lack of a better word - "ignorance" of tregaron residents in the =
accomplishments of the shelby family and what they contributed to =
colonial america. =20
wouldn't it be wonderful if the shelby descendants across the u.s. and =
beyond would all contribute to a marker or some sort of commemoration of =
the family and the site from which they emigrated??!! think about it!
