I searched a2a (Access to Archives - well worth a look) and found:

catalogue of an Exhibition of Medical Records, held in the Library of =
the Royal College of Physicians of London, 1958; copy of the Bristol =
Week-End, 14th October, 1964, featuring an article about Westovers, =
Wedmore, built in 1680 by Dr. J. Westover; and A 17th Century Country =
Doctor: John Westover of Wedmore by Frances Neale, reprinted from The =

so it would seem that Dr Westovers Journal is in the Somerset Archives, =
along with some other intriguing documents.
