 I replaced the hatch cover this year as well. I wasn't able to fing any
acrylic, but lexan (polycrabonate) is supposed to be stronger. Look on the
internet and you may will find a number of places that will sell to you. the
trick is to find one that has an "odd end" left over from a larger job.
Lexan only comes in grey or bronze tints so you won't be able to match the
rose color of the original. I also found that you cant get an auto shop to
apply a tinted film as the material will only stick to glass.

Shop around. Some of the prices i received were in the #400.00 range, but I
finally found a place in San Diego on the net that charged me about $125.00.
Also be careful about how to drill the lexan as it will shatter on the
opposite side as the drill breaks through the surface.
