Hi Fellow Frers 33 Sailors;

Hope you all had a great season. We've had the Tuning Guide posted for a few months now. I have a few minor changes to finalize it (rig measurements) so if anyone has any additional suggestions please let me know.

The second item I have relates to some problem areas relating to bilge pump location and operation.
  1.. The manual bilge pump is located on the port side of the cockpit just aft of the wheel and discharges overboard near the waterline. Convenient location but a long haul for the water to get overboard. I seem to be loosing suction. Difficult area to get to. Has anyone experienced this problem and if so how did you rectify it?
  2.. Electric bilge pump located under the port settee with the discharge port side aft just above the manual bilge pump near the gunwhale. There is a float switch in the bilge and a strainer in the hose before it enters the pump. Either the pump is too small, not working properly or the discharge hose is too long. The result is that even if the bilge is full it takes forever to empty it using the electric bilge pump. Wondering if everyone has the same arrangement of if some have moved the bilge pump discharge location closer to the pump.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
