Scott, as with almost any keelboat, flat is fast. If you keep the Frers much past 19* of heel you start giving up too much leeway. As much as you think you're pointing higher, you just gave it back (and more) by going sideways on the course. A #3 and a reefed main would help. If it's still heeling too much a #4 and a reef is in order. R/Mark
