I'm in the process of refinishing the handrails on my cabin top and was 
considering removing them in order to strip  them more easily as well as work in 
the comfort of my shop rather than  on the boat.  I've noticed that the 
handrails both interior and exterior  appear to align with each other and both 
have teak plugs over screws.   Has anyone removed their handrails, and do you 
know if each handrail is  screwed into the handrail opposite?  My handrails on 
the interior are in  great shape and not sure if it's worth removing the 
exterior rails if  it involves removing the interior rails in the process.
