I had a leaking strut and I attacked it by removing the hull material aroun=
d the strut from the out side. The vertical strut is actually a forged unit=
that is attached to the boat with four Bronze bolts and nuts. The hull aro=
und the strut appeared to be fiberglass and the nuts for the strut were on =
the inside hull underneath what is a support for the tank.=C2=A0The strut a=
ppears to be a four bolt assembly once you sand off the gelcoat, but you wi=
ll find the strut has an inverted "V" which matches the shape of the hull w=
here it joins the hull.=C2=A0 I replaced all four nuts and bolts as some ha=
d signs of severe electrolysis=20
.=20
=C2=A0=20
I did not have to remove the fuel tank. I accessed the area inside the boat=
through the starboard=C2=A0lazarette. I'm 5'10"=C2=A0 230lbs and it was a =
tight fit, but it helps if you have someone helping with the tools. If ther=
e is a circus coming to your town, see if they have any midgets who might b=
e willing to crawl in there.=20
