The only work of that type that I've heard was that some boats had a soft mast step that required stiffening.

When I replaced the cabin sole this year we noted that the grid and stringers look to have been modified sometime since new. It looks like a very nice job was done
Are there any particular concerns about this area that make this a common modification on a Frers 33? I heard once that the 30 tended to flex with a lot of backstay but was not aware of such an issue on the 33.
