It most likely had gotten water in it and froze. Remove the rudder so that i=
t can be inspected more thoroughly, check the rudder post to see how much co=
rrosion there is, some of the boats have had to replace the rudder because o=
f bad corrosion. If the post is good have a qualified person investigate the=
crack to see how far it goes, it can be repaired they were built in halves.=

lout to be sure I could get the rudder out.<br>
