Had the same issue last Spring, rudder totally stuck, I thought it was some=
 stop put in place for the trucking. But no, after some push it started to =
move although not smoothly. I'm wondering what the situation will be this S=
pring... so interested to read what's probably my next project.

Nice to hear from you!

It's on the hard in Montreal, & I had the cradle put up on blocks at haulou=
t to be sure I could get the rudder out.

Workin in Texas until end of March, but would have to wait for the weather =
to break up there before dropping it anyway.

Just tryin to get a head start on parts & understanding the process beforeh=
and.

The pedestal has Edson on it. When I looked at the gears and bearings last =
year, there was no visible wear.
