Dear Sales,

Please see attached ballast price update that includes all the affected
items, price changes in red. The changes have been made in RW and should be
reflected in SM100 today.

Dear Marketing, please note the price changes.

Thank you,

Greg

Greg,

Attached is a copy of the ballast price changes I have made to RW. The
changes to RW are in Red. Please prepare a MPM Announcement to Sales on
Monday AM, and maybe provide a PDF cheat sheet of the changes (sheet labeled
"released"). Also, please advise marketing for pricing changes. Thanks.

Pat,

My mistake. I should have addressed this to Greg. I believe in an
increased productivity by not duplicating efforts if we can. Going forward
I would address everything regarding the products to individual product
managers and I will copy you when needed such as pricing issues. Is that
going to work for you?

Adding Greg in the communication.

Pat,

Thank you. It looks like we need to inform CSR's and inside sales to push
out all non SC models first so that we can make all of these items inactive
once we get rid of inventory. As a matter of fact let's do it product by
product to clean up our active inventory list. I will start this process
with them and will copy you and Ken. Perhaps you guys can start other lines
as well.

Top 5 seller items are SKEU322/SC, SKEU324/SC,SKEU322L/SC, SKEU322HEL/SC,
and SKEU322HE/SC with proposed HOT price profitability of 32%, 27%, 32%,
30%, and 30% respectively. This is a high margin for ballast. Based on
this I want to propose lower ABCD price for the popular items and add HOT
price for the others as follows:

                                                HOT A
B C D

SKE1322/SC $8.00

SKE1324/SC $10.55

SKEU322/SC $8.50 $9.00 $9.75
$10.75 $12.45

SKEU322H/SC $10.10

SKEU322HE/SC $9.25 $9.75 $10.50
$11.60 $13.40

SKEU322HEH/SC $11.15

SKEU322HEL/SC $9.25 $9.75 $10.50
$11.60 $13.40

SKEU322L/SC $8.50 $9.00 $9.75
$10.75 $12.45

SKEU323/SC $10.75

SKEU323L/SC $10.75

SKEU324/SC $11.15 $11.40 $12.25
$13.50 $15.55

SKEU324H/SC $16.15

SKEU324HE/SC $11.80

SKEU324HEH/SC $16.80

SKEU324HEL/SC $11.80

SKEU324L/SC $11.15 $11.40 $12.25
$13.50 $15.55

SKEU402/SC $14.90

SKEU542HOP/SC $15.00

SKEU544HOP/SC $28.80

SKEU962/SC $13.45

The objective is to increase our ballast sales that is stagnant at this
moment. Once it is done we should let Marketing include this in our MaxLite
Minutes to announce our price drop in select popular ballast line to our
sales reps.

Yon,

Attached is the pricing comparison you wanted for ballasts with a Hot Price
at 7% less than A Price.

(3) SKU's fall below 12% margin, (1 of 3) is actually a negative:

MLE1323

SKE1282P

SKE1541HOP

(3) SKU's had inconsistent pricing:

MLE1324 - only has distributor price, so I projected CBA

SKE1402/SC - did not have any price so I generated all DCBA

SKEU402/SC - did not have any price so I generated all DCBA (this maybe an
unused number-will check)
