I am really looking forward to the trip to Vietnam, and somehow the thank you for this amazing opportunity didn’t go through with the other email. So -- I wanted to especially thank
David Thomas and the Indochina Arts Partnership for offering this opportunity, along with all of their supporters. David is a great artist and printmaker, and some of you were able to
travel to Vietnam with him several years ago. You know how wonderful this is. I’m looking forward to this trip, and all of the people who I will get to meet and work with and learn from
– will share all after Thanksgiving when I get back.

The Indochina Arts Partnership (IAP) was begun in 1987 by Vietnam Veteran and Boston artist C. David Thomas and conducts programs of cultural development and artistic exchange
between the United States and the countries of Southeast Asia, with a primary focus on Vietnam. The Non-profit IAP has produced two widely-traveled exhibitions of modern work by
Vietnamese and American artists. In addition, the Partnership has sponsored residencies in America for more than fifty Vietnamese visual artists, writers and leaders of national cultural
institutions; and has arranged working journeys to Vietnam for numerous American counterparts. (www.iapone.org)
