Hi Jack,

Jacob's parents were Reese Shelby [b 29 Jul 1881 -d 24 Apr 1920 -tombstone 
dates] and Priscilla Catherine Cousert [1854-1884] -They are both buried, 
along with a son James Green Shelby, in the Shelby Cemetery in Lusk, Pope 
Co, IL.
Cemetery location is from James' death certificate, but it does not name 
parents. He died 19 Feb 1913.

Reese was the son of Jacob Shelby and Mary Ann "Polly" Parkerson, all of 
Pope Co, IL

I can provide names and some dates- just don't have much in personal data 
on them -mostly from the courthouse for Pope Co, IL. in Golconda..

Line goes this way:
   Rees and Mary (Blair??) Shelby
      Jacob and Esther Jane (Foard?) Shelby
         Rees and Clary (Stapleton?) Shelby
              Jacob and Mary Ann (Parkerson) Shelby
                 Reese and Priscilla
