Thanks for the info Frank.=C2=A0 I Have a=C2=A0few of questions;=20

Did you place the tank all the way forward?=20

Did you use a rectangluar tank or something more form fitting?=20

About how far forward of the seacock is the aft end of the tank?=20

In speaking with Barry Carrol he suggested looking into using the Raritan C=
ompact II head =C2=A0(no longer in production, they do have a new alternati=
ve )=C2=A0 with the accompaning Compact Holding Tank (this has a capacity o=
f about 5 Gallons) or the Raske product which is a harder to get (cost is a=
rround $700 for head & tank set up) .=C2=A0 =C2=A0These tanks wrap around t=
he base of the head and have built in Y valves for straight discharge, to t=
he tank or pump out.=C2=A0 Barry said they=C2=A0 used them very effectively=
in Farr 40's and Frers 41's.=C2=A0=20

Has anyone had any experience with these compact holding tank setups on a F=
rers 33?=C2=A0 My thinking is t hese head and tank arrangements will elimin=
ate a lot of hose and therefore potential odor.=20

Thanks=20

Did you place the tank all the way forward?

Did you use a rectangluar tank or something more form fitting?

About how far forward of the seacock is the aft end of the tank?

In speaking with Barry Carrol he suggested looking into using the Rarita=

tive) with the accompaning Compact Holding Tank (this has a capacity =
of about 5 Gallons) or the Raske product which is a harder to get (cost is =
arround $700 for head & tank set up). These tanks wrap aroun=

Has anyone had any experience with these compact holding tank setups on =

amp;nbsp; Next you're going to want a thick walled rigid plastic ta=3D
n=

d you will =3D
be sorry. Someone suggested a stainless steel t=

filled with waste water. No=3D
thing but acid is more corrosiv=

o affect on plastic. I located my tank forward on=3D
the=
port side. Everything from the head is pumped directly into the =
=3D
tank. From the tank there is a Y valve which allows a pump=

SPAN>I am looking to replace the original bladder water tank, with a =3D=
rigid tank, moving it to the starboard side. Does anyone know of a good=
sou=3D
rce for a good fitting tank? I would like to have it as far aft =
and low as =3D
possible, with a capacity of about 20 =3DE2=3D80=3D93 30 =
gallons.</S=3D
PAN>
</DIV&g=

process of trying to fix/improve the hol=3D
ding tank/plumbing set up. T=
rying to eliminate the potential for future odo=3D
r problems. The curre=
nt set up is not original. Does anyone have the origin=3D
al layout of t=
he tank & plumbing for it? I=3DE2=3D80=3D99ve seen the set up o=3D<=

gt;From what I have read the air vent from the tank is not supp=
ose =3D
to exceed 5 to 6 feet. I have removed the macerator pump as it w=
as not func=3D
tioning and inhibited getting to the shut off valve for t=
he seacock, and re=3D
moved the hoses which I could readily get to.</=
SPAN>=3D20

Removing t=
he remaining hoses are going to be a real chore as the=3D
tank was=
placed just above the seacock, so it is extremely difficult to re=3D
mo=
ve the hose attached to it.
<D=
IV> =3D20

My=
goal is to try to minimize the total amount of hose and above=3D
=
all no odor.=3D20

<S=
