The end plate on my port side genoa car failed today spilling the bearings =
out all over the deck, thankfully we caught it before going back up on the =
jib as the car simply came off the track in my hand when I shook it a littl=
e.

It appears Harken doesn=92t make this car anymore, and they have also disco=
ntinued the 1537 midrange car also used by the J/109=92s that superseded th=
e ones we have. The broken end plate is easily replaceable, but I don=92=
t know the part number for the car we have (it=92s slightly different shape=
than the newer 1537 car) to even try to find a replacement end plate.

Does anyone know the model number of the car we have, or even better the pa=
rt number for replacement the plastic end plates that keep the bearings ins=
ide?
