Actually "family notes" can contain a lot of just plain wrong information!
Especially when it comes to Shelbys :-) -Adam Alexander's wife was Mary

It depends on what those notes are based on and what time frame they were
written. Were they quoting "My great so and so's maiden name was.." etc. Or
whether some one was simply writing down notes found in published book(s)
Nothing documented has come to light on Isabel's maiden name.. I've heard
of that "Redd", but its been a long time, I don't recall at the moment, the
origins of it..I'll check my Alexander file..and get back to you.
