[MaxLite] Email migration schedule (Aug 17-18)

Dear All,

 

We will migrate our email service from Hostway to Microsoft over this
weekend. I understand there are few people who do not have new email profile
on their computers. Please contact IT before the end of the week and have it
ready on your computer.

 

Few things that I want you to aware for the events over the weekend.
(Aug/17/2019 - Aug/18/2019)

 

1.	As you already know, you have added new email profile on each of
your computer. Once we initiate migration process, no new email will arrive
to your Outlook with old profile. Please go to email setting and select new
email profile: "Office 365".
2.	During the weekend, as we migrate your emails from old to new email
services, you may not have any emails on your new email service at the
beginning. But as we further email migration, your old emails will start to
appear in your new email service. We are going to migrate per email account
basis. Please be patient.
3.	For new email settings on phones, please refer attached documents of
"Office 365 iPhone/Android.pptx".
4.	All non-Exchange (POP3) users will find all your old emails are
missing when you use new email profile. IT will start to reconnect your
email data file to your new email profile starting next Monday.

Step 1: adding new email profile : DONE

Step 2: Email server information change (MX record change)

Step 3: Backup and download email data

Step 4: Upload and restore email data <== We will go to here over the
weekend.

Step 5: Attach local PST files to your new Outlook profile (current POP3
users only)
